Our Story

In April 2021, amidst a global pandemic, a Parisian man and a French-Thai London girl connected as many did in the Big City - through a dating app called Hinge. Arthur and Virginie's first date was a socially distant stroll in Clissold Park, where they said hello to the resident deers - the first of many dates that allowed them to explore their adopted city together. Through a mutual love of food (food being really the most important shared love), travel, history, art and film, Virginie and Arthur turned their connection into a deep bond of love and friendship. After three years of adventures and building a life together in London, Arthur made his surprise proposal (it involved candles and rose petals), and now they’re excited to invite all their most precious loved ones to celebrate their union together with a party at St Desir in Normandie.
